P.S. Man labai trūko kažkokio žalumyno, tai pasidariau salotų iš tarkuoto agurko, morkos bei salotų lapų.Užpyliau sojų padažu, alyvuogių aliejumi ir ryžiu actu.

Apple crumble

My one and only apple crumble! Simple, but yet sooo delicious! Especially with vanilla ice cream!

What you'll need :
  • For the crumble
  1. 3-4tbl sp flour
  2. half a cup sugar
  3. 2-3tbl sp butter
  4. 1tsp cinnamon
  • For the filling:
  1. 2 -3 big apples ( peeled and cut into small chunks)
  2. 2-3 tbl sp sugar
  3. 1tbl sp water
  4. 1tbl sp butter

  • Now on to the making:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Place the flour, cinnamon and sugar in a large bowl and mix well. Taking a few cubes of butter at a time rub into the flour mixture. Keep rubbing until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. ( You can also do this with two knifes, but for me, doing it with fingers is much faster)
  3. Place the apples in a small pot. Add the butter, water and sugar. "Boil" this mixture until the fruit is soft.
  4. Pour the fruit in to a baking pan and add the crumbles on top. ( I add a dash of bread crumbs also. Just so the crumble would look crunchy and brown on top)
  5. Bake the crumble for about an hour.
  6. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

I hope you enjoyed.

Sushi (bonus - tempura)

I looove sushi! It's so easy to make and so delicious.. It's literally my guilty pleasure! haha I made three "kinds" of sushi : tempura sushi, with salmon and with salmon and crab meat.

  • 1-2 tbl s
  • p. sugar
  1. Wash your rice. Repeat this step until your the water is clear.
  2. Put the rice into colander and let it stay for about 30 minutes.
  3. After that take a pot, pour the rice in it. Boil the rice for 8minutes, after that turn off the heat and keep it under the cover for 10 minutes more.
  4. While rice are boiling let's prepare the rice vinegar. Put the vinegar, salt and sugar into a small pot or pan and heat the vinegar until salt and sugar will disolve.
  5. When the rice are done ,pour the vinegar on top and mix well. Leave it to cool for a couple of minutes.

  • What you'll need for sushi making:
  • Sea weed sheets
  • Salted salmon
  • Crab meat or crab sticks
  • Mayonnaise
  • Avocado
  • Peeled cucumber
  • Sesame seads
  1. Cut all your ingriedients into even chunks.
  2. My sesame seads were not cooked, so i cooked them in a pan for a few minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Mix crab meat with mayonnaise.
  4. Take your sea weed sheets add rice in an even layer.
  5. Put your ingridients on top and roll it up.

  • Now for the fun part! For tempura you' ll need:
  • 2 tbl sp flour
  • half of a cup water ( you need your water to be extremely cold )
  • 1 egg
  • vegetable oil
  1. Now mix all ingridients together and "dip" your rolls in the mixture. After that put them in hot olive oil and bake until nice and crunchy.
That's it.

Rice with chicken

Well hello there! :) It's been quite a while from my last post and i have no explanation, but i promise to make it up for you! :) So todays recipe will be one of my favorites - rice with chicken "sauce".
What you'll need:
  • Chicken breast
  • Heavy cream
  • Rice
  • Salt, pepper
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tbl sp flour
On to the cooking !
  1. Prepare your chicken. Cut it in small pieces. Sprinkle some salt and pepper.
  2. Heat your pan with a dash of olive oil and cook the chicken for a few minutes.
  3. Boil your rice as usual.
  4. When the chicken is ready, pour the heavy cream ( pour as much as you like, because the heavy cream will be the sauce ) , add some salt and pepper. And let it come up to a boil. After that add your flour and let it boil again.
  5. You're done. Just pour the sauce onto the rice and your dinner is ready :) Super simple, but soo delicious! :)

Good luck,

A sneak peak to my nail polish collection and my storage tip!

There is one thing that i love almost more than clothes and make up. And it's NAIL POLISHES! I love that feeling when i come home with a new bottle of polish! Testing it, painting on nails, doing nail arts.. This "ritual" calms me down. haha
Since i love them so much and i have quite a bit, i just had to think about a new way of storing them. So i came up with an idea to keep them in a cute box, so they won't dry out as quickly as they would if i just kept them in a drawer. Of course, i didn't wanted to buy a box, which where i live costs more then it should, so i decided to make my own. Well, i mean, not to make my own, but just decorate it the way i wanted. I took a simple shoe box and decorated it with some wrapping paper and here you have it. :) Oh also! By keeping your nail polishes like this you may forget or not see which nail polish is which, so i put a mall dot of polish on each cap.

i decided to combine all of them in this blog. I hope you won't mind. haha. And i thought thatd the best way to start my beauty posts would be with what's in my bag! I had this bag for more than two years and i'm so sad that everyday it's looking worse and worse.. :(
My bag:

What's inside:

  2. Mix curd with sour cream, sugar and one egg, until the texture is nice and solid.
  3. Heat your oven up to 180C.
